MC860 MFP
The MC860 is a true A3 MFP designed for the needs, floor space and budgets of small businesses and workgroups. Its ultra compact design is not much bigger than competitive A4 MFP models and means it is easily accommodated in even the smallest of offices. It brings fast, efficient and inexpensive A4 and A3 multifunctionality to every office increasing workgroup efficiency by providing easy access to copy, print, scan and fax.

Copy Mode
The MC860 is very easy to use as a walk up copier with colour or mono copies being made at a touch of the appropriate button. An easy to use touch-screen display allows selection of additional features like duplex copying, book copy and many others. The MC860 copies A4 colour at 26 copies per minute (cpm) and mono at 34 cpm (A3 = 15cpm colour/17cpm mono). First page out times of 14.5sec colour, 13sec mono.
Print Mode
The MC860 uses the same ProQ2400 multi-bit printer technology (1200 x 600 dpi) as used so successfully in the C8000 series printer. Standard PCL/PostScript gives the MC860 complete operating system flexibility. Prints speeds are same as copy speeds. Frequently printed jobs can be stored on the standard HDD for printing on request directly at the MFP. OKI technology brings complete media flexibility with the ability to handle paper sizes from A6 to A3 as well as banners up to 1.2 metres long and with weights of up to 203gsm
Scan Modes
The MC860 connects directly to the network enabling users to scan to a folder on the network (FTP, CIFS) or scan to anyone with an e-mail address. LDAP support gives access to all e-mail addresses stored on the central mail server. A USB port on the side of the unit allows users to scan to a USB disk drive or memory stick.
Fax Mode
The MC860 has a Super G3 (33.6 kbps) fax modem with RJ11 ports for connection to the telephone network. Its sends pages in as little as 3 seconds. Up to 500 telephone numbers can be stored in the unit. A 16MB memory stores approximately 1000 pages (72hrs in case of power failure).
Utilities
MC860 offers a complete suite of utilities to manage and control the device on the network and to interface with locally connected devices. Template Manager is included making the production of standard business documents, like business cards, CD labels and banners, really easy. Scansoft Omnipage and Paperport are also included and will provide a real benefit for smaller companies looking for document management software.
Consumables
EP cartridges, fusers and transfer belts are the same as the OKI C830 colour printer but the toners have increased capacity and are therefore unique to the MC860.
