You can use the colour wheel to help you decide on a colour scheme when creating and printing your own designs. If you are creating branded printed material, a good place to start is to find out the exact colour of your company's logo.

Click on Enter Colour Values and put in the required values. Enter only one set of values, eg just RGB.

First, choose the type of colour scheme you want to create from the icons at the top.

Next, turn the dials to set the Hue, Saturation and Brightness. The resulting colour combinations will be shown to the right, with the precise values displayed below.

Example Layouts shows you how the chosen scheme might appear on one of three typical print applications.

Sample Schemes will open a window from which to select some pre-created schemes.

Enter Colour Values will open a window into which you can enter an RGB or CMYK or Hex value of a known colour - for example, one of your specific company colours.

TIP: For most printer applications RGB is the one to use.
